NATA Listing Requirements:

In making the request of the Placement Service, the Congregation is required to:

  1. Provide confidentiality. Make first contact with each applicant at the applicant's home address or telephone; if the applicant is presently serving another congregation, please obtain the applicant's permission before communicating with the lay or rabbinic leaders.
  2. Promptly notify NATA Placement Services when the position has been filled and by whom. Membership materials and an application to join NATA will be promptly sent.
  3. Acknowledge each resume as it is received, and notify the candidates interviewed, by letter, of the results of their candidacy.

Please note that the Placement Services is available to all current member congregations of the URJ (Union for Reform Judaism) at no charge.

Non-URJ congregations are to remit a processing fee of $150 with this application.
This fee covers a six month listing period on the NATA Placement website. Congregations may renew their listing by contacting the NATA Office and submitting the $150 fee two weeks prior to the expiration of the listing. Non-renewed ads will be removed from the website at the conclusion of the six month period.

Prior approval is required from NAASE for all conservative temples wishing to list positions through NATA.


Salary does not include fringe benefits, customarily the following are found with Temple Administrator positions:
